In an interview with Official Xbox Magazine, Peter Molyneux, Microsoft Game Studios’ Creative Director, has revealed that Fable III won’t include expressions seen in the series’ two previous titles. In response to being asked why they have been removed, Molyneux explains “I think expressions in Fable and Fable II were more of a gimmick than a gameplay feature. They were more about making people laugh because of a fart joke in various ways. There wasn’t any real reward for them. Gamers want features that are woven into the drama and the experience – a real gameplay reason to do it.”…
Blue skies soar overhead as the view pans down to focus on a lone train peacefully passing through a breathtaking mountain landscape. Aboard the train, a PSICOM soldier patrols, keeping an overbearing eye on a group of cloaked prisoners currently being escorted to the floating city world of Cocoon. However, such peace is interrupted when the train slams through a barrier knocking the soldier off-guard. Two characters immediately rush to their feet as they begin to seize control of the train, in an attempt to free the prisoners from their captors. It is after a quick uncloak that we are…
The start of a new month would usually bring fresh excitement, especially considering the impending arrival of some of this year’s biggest titles – Final Fantasy XIII and God of War III – March has been initially hampered by an inherent bug within Sony’s PlayStation 3 consoles. With Sony remaining firmly tight-lipped on the issue, speculation is that the PlayStation 3’s clock chip – on all the older ‘fat’ models – is currently searching for February 29th within its 2010 calendar. As well all know, this doesn’t exist, so issues have arisen in which users cannot play games, sync trophy…

Recent developments have also allowed single-layer to reach a capacity of 33.4GB for single-layer, so it’ll be an exciting…
Stephen Toulouse, Director of Policy and Enforcement for Xbox LIVE, has today responded to the video that has surfaced on the internet of a video that apparently provides incriminating evidence of a “corrupt” Xbox Live Moderator. Toulouse begins by stating “Yes I’ve seen the heavily edited video of The Pro. He was policing 10th prestige MW2 modding which results in gold account and console ban.” He then re-confirms what many were expecting – that the video has been heavily edited to omit the threats aimed to provoke The Pro, “I did enjoy the explanation about the audio being totally off/1 sided cause his “capture card…

I’ve seen the phenomenal opening cutscene to Square Enix’s latest Final Fantasy title plenty of times now, having imported the Japanese PlayStation 3 version released back in December. However, this time around it was an entirely different experience for me. Not only was I seeing this entire opening section with English voice-over for the first time, but I am amongst the incredibly lucky few to have been able to get an early hands-on with the Xbox 360 version of the title. Regarded as the ‘International Edition,’ it’s set to release across PAL and NTSC regions in under a months time…
Subscribers to the Official PlayStation Magazine (UK), have been treated today in being able to get their hands on reading the world exclusive review of the highly anticipated PS3 exclusive, God of War III. This follows the exclusive Heavy Rain review the magazine had in its previous issue. Fans will certainly be in uproar, however, as it has been awarded an incredibly commendable 9/10 – which however places it below the magazine review scores for other PlayStation 3 titles including 10/10 for Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, LittleBigPlanet and Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. In concluding the review,…
