Maxime Beland, Creative Director for Ubisoft’s upcoming title Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Conviction, has revealed that if there was one thing that he wished the team could have implemented into the final game to please fans, it would have been to carry dead bodies. Industry figure David Jaffe, Designer/ Director at Eat Sleep Play, has commented on Ubisoft’s recent announcement regarding an environmentally friendly move to stop producing printed game manuals. Jaffe states, “HATE the idea of losing paper manuals. Great manuals add to the experience and – when you are a kid – make the car ride home from the store where you got the game bearable. Microsoft has today confirmed that they are to hold two Press Conferences at this years E3 event, one that is specifically set to be focussed on Natal device and the other presumably to focus entirely on the Xbox 360 itself. According to Geoff Keighley, “Xbox just sent out a save the date for TWO E3 press conferences. In a recent interview on the Japanese Square Enix Members area, Tetsuya Nomura has revealed further information regarding the upcoming Final Fantasy Versus XIII title – currently set to be released exclusively on PlayStation 3.
